The IFFL will be held from 25 to 29 August at London's historic Riverside Studios in Hammersmith. Apart from being home to several landmark British television and theatrical productions, Riverside Studios has for over 25 years enjoyed a cult status among film-lovers as the pre-eminent home of original and pioneering cinema. Riverside Studios has a loyal base of over 15,000 customers. The potential for crossover is immense – helping serve the IFFL's aim of taking Indian cinema to a mainstream audience.
A purpose-designed lounge for the IFFL will feature daily post-screening receptions. For the duration of the festival, Riverside Studios will offer specially-made Indian food, and the Riverside Art Gallery will feature works by emerging Indian artists.
