Welcome to the official website of the Indian Film Festival of London (IFFL 2010). The inaugural edition of the IFFL will be held from 25 to 29 August at London's historic Riverside Studios.
The Indian Film Festival of London is the first major film festival to be held in London that is dedicated solely to promoting cinema from the Indian subcontinent. Along with the popular and offbeat cinema of the soi-disant Bollywood and regional India, the IFFL will introduce audiences to the lesser-known cinematic traditions of the region, showcasing an array of powerful productions from Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Screenings at the IFFL will be accompanied by other events, including, but not limited to, opening and closing night galas, art gallery featuring the work of emerging Indian artists, post-screening receptions, and an awards ceremony to honour the recipients of the jury awards for best documentary and feature film.
